Since I got screwed on my attempt to get a new job, I spent the evening fixing up my site with CSS. Now I can add navigation much easier than before, because before they were images before and that was just dumb. It should load faster too. I think I’m finally getting the hang of CSS, it is taking a while, but the results look good and it you can make some neat stuff with only one file. Woo.

I also went out to see dreamworks latest attempt at animation. Heck, I liked it enough to see it twice! I myself like to give into a common belief by others that I model and not so much animate, but I really picked up on what Ajay is saying. The humans were overzealous to the point of abnoxious over-activity. The land lady toting her vile cell phone and driving her gigantor SUV made more sense than her walk cycle. Which incidentally looks like she goes home to sit on a parking cone for hours on end before going outside. However to counter the crappy animation she is seized by, they animated “hammy” (a small squirrel which plays a huge part in the movie) to near cartoon perfection. Oh well the rest of the movie really kicked butt and may make its way into my shelves once it releases (or should i say hard drive). As an added plus I bring you…. More color study!!! This time I have created a few roughs of other kinds of guards. For some reason they draw themselves….

I got one of those shiny Rubik’s cubes the other day and for the past 2 days it has eaten all of my life. I started at about 9pm last night and got it to look like this.
I have an old, funny colored 3×3 cube, but can’t remember how to solve it. It took me 2 days to do it and I did a piss-poor job of documenting it for you. Enjoy!

How does this look, eh? Eh? Much better than the regular wordpress look. This is taking so long and it is ridiculous to the max just to get this stuff to look decent. My stylesheet is getting so long, but it’s not as long as the default, yet, so that must be good. I’m going to be making this the homepage too, so there will be links to the comics somewhere…

My leg hurts and Nami and Drew seem to have gotten their grades, so I lurched, hunchback of Notre Dame style to the mailbox. Lo and behold, in much the same way a flaming airplane lands, the grades have appeared in my mail-hole. Not male-hole. Bestowed upon me were one “A”, one “B-”, and one “C-”. A 3.0 for the final term, and a 3.255 average for the 4 hellish years spent in Torturous Exile. It looks like the degree will actually arrive now.

This is my draw blog, or Draog. I hope i made that name up first, cuz it’s kinda fun. I’ll post stuff here that isn’t my normal comic stuff here. It’ll be awesome I hope. I gotta customize this, but I’m not sure how yet. Gotta go get me some CSS books.
